Lord of the Dance Studies with Lord of the Languages
He's the creative genius behind Riverdance, Lord of the Dance and
Feet of Flames - which together have earned him more than $1 billion.
He also holds the Guinness Book of World Records for performing the
most taps (35) per second. And this fall, he completed a triumphant
run in Russia; signed a quarter-of-a-billion-dollar deal to bring
Lord of the Dance to Las Vegas' Venetian Hotel; and announced plans
to bring his spectacular show to Disneyland Paris in December.
In between it all, Irish-dance legend Michael Flatley has taken time
out to quickly learn a couple of languages - French and Italian --
which will undoubtedly come in handy as the "Lord of the Dance"
continues his globe-trotting ways. He also has plans to take Russian
lessons soon.
Flatley's French and Italian language studies were completed within
just three weeks with "Lord of the Languages," Michel Thomas,
and his specially trained instructors at Thomas' New York City based
Language Center.
Thomas -- the master linguist whose methods are guaranteed to teach
"absolute beginners" foreign languages in a matter of days
-- is no stranger to the entertainment industry. His former clients
include, to name but a few, Mel Gibson, Woody Allen, Emma Thompson,
Princess Grace of Monaco, Melanie Griffith, The Duchess of York Sarah
Ferguson, Bob Dylan, Warren Beatty, and Carl Reiner.
