Where are
classes held?
Classes may be held in New York, Beverly Hills, or in London by special
arrangement.
What is the class schedule?
There is no prearranged schedule of classes. The days for the class
are decided upon by the student and the Michel Thomas Language Center.
Unlike other less effective language programs, our classes are intensive.
You should expect to devote three or more full days to the study of
the target language to ensure rapid learning. To set up a mutually

a series of days when you might be available.
How long will the course be?
Studying with Michel Thomas will allow you to attain a level of good
conversational proficiency in three to four days. Studying with one
of his fully trained instructors will allow you to reach conversational
proficiency in about 8 days.
How far in advance should I apply?
Classes with Michel Thomas are very much in demand. We recommend that
you contact the center at least one month before you wish to study
with Mr. Thomas in order to book a class. If you wish to study with
an instructor, please try to contact the center at least two weeks
in advance.
Do you have group classes?
We do teach group classes, but the Michel Thomas Language Center does
not form the groups. Groups are usually set up by companies for their
employees, or by universities. It is the responsibility of the student
to form groups.
Which languages may I study at the center?
If you wish to study French, German or Spanish, you may study with
Michel Thomas or with one of his trained instructors. You may study
any other language with an instructor. Click
